Privacy Policy

This policy covers Nexus AR (com.ryonexus.nexusar) and Nexus AR Premium (com.ryonexus.nexusar.premium), on-device external-display companions published by Ryo Nexus Studio. Both editions are referred to as Nexus AR below. The application has no Internet permission, creates no user accounts, displays no advertising, and does not transmit personal data.
Premium purchases
Nexus AR Premium is a paid download through Google Play. Google handles payment and purchase records under its own privacy policy. Nexus AR does not receive or store your payment-card or bank details. The application has no separate sign-in, subscription, or in-app purchase.
Accessibility service
If you explicitly enable External App Control, Nexus AR reads active-window identity, focused-control metadata, text selection, and current non-password text needed to route your commands to the selected external display. Processing is local and transient. Password values are not read. Accessibility data and typed text are not logged, sold, transmitted, or persistently stored.
Camera and sensors
Camera access is requested only when you explicitly activate compatible XREAL hand-control features. Camera frames and motion-sensor readings are processed on the device for tracking and pointer movement and are not transmitted by Nexus AR.
Screen capture
Screenshot and recording actions use Android's system MediaProjection consent prompt. Captures are created only after your command and are saved locally on your device. You control and delete these files through Android. Protected or DRM content may be blocked by Android.
Installed applications and device state
Nexus AR reads launchable-application information to show its app launcher and reads display, media-volume, and feature state to operate its controls. This information remains on the device.
Storage, retention, and sharing
Nexus AR stores only local preferences until you clear application data or uninstall it. User-created captures remain until you delete them. Nexus AR does not share user data with third parties. On-device XREAL and Qualcomm runtime components are used only to provide compatible hardware features.
Children
Nexus AR is a general-purpose hardware companion and is not directed to children.
